That's a 24mm SynBad fan knot, and I am blown away! This may be as close as I get to declaring a brush to be The One.

That has BEAUTIFUL character to it. LOVE it !!!
Amen! I am so glad you snagged that one, Eric (and glad I could nudge you to it, lol). Absolutely gorgeous brush, especially with that Synbad knot. Amazing!

Tim (knothead) does some stellar work, as well. Nice brush and it definitely goes well with the cashmere knot. Another great choice.

So this begs the question... Do you have a brush shelf / display? If not you need one! Got put all of these gorgeous pieces on display. Maybe just empty out the china cabinet... The wife won't mind.

Edit: It just struck me what that reminds me of... Tobacco leaves.

No, I don't have a display shelf, not enough free wall space. And I do appreciate the nudges!

Eric,
Had to do a double take on that burl handle. Have it's "twin" waiting to be picked up...Not identical, but fraternal.....

That one was special. Easily the most interesting piece of wood I’ve ever turned.

Who would have guessed it was a Home Depot Kids Workshop Project

Wink just kidding!

Here’s a few build pics:

Yes, I saw it and am thinking about it now that you point out the family tree!

And here is the latest, and hopefully last (if I can get back my impulse control!), handle/knot purchase. I love the color of the handle, (Northeast Ice is what Paul called it, and I agree) and I think I am joining Dave in saying I am liking the Timberwolf knot from Maggard more and more. My suspicion is that a Cashmere would really work here (or maybe one of Paul's (mrdoug ) blue haired knots?!), but I have 2 Cashmeres already, and I really like the look of the Cashmere in that striped birch. Maybe a swap some day in the future?

It's setting up as we speak, so maybe a late shave tomorrow or Monday morning for sure.
Many thanks to Paul (@Stubble Daddy) for working so easily with me as I changed over my brush collection to these one of a kind spectacular looking handles. I just may have to take up the other Paul's suggestion, and get a small shelf installed. Not sure if my wife would be appreciative or if it would get me more than my normal amount (already fairly high!) of side look eye rolls!! She sees the craftmanship and loves that, but all of them appearing at once may move me to the garage!! (jk)

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that. I don't have the artistic eye, that's my wife, but I liked it while even at the same time doubting my knot choice!

[bad segue]: Re the Era thread, I noted that Shane jumped in quick, within minutes of my post, to prank me! So the maker sees the fun we're having. The thread had gone dark so I decided to try some more funny posts. Always need a smile!

And speaking of smiles, we need an update on what Ken Fluffy and crew are up to. Man, he made my day with those couple of sentences on sock puppet Bob, miniFluffy, and AST Barbie get up to! I think I'll swing by his thread before getting back to my house work!
