Scentsless Shaver

Thanks to some alignment, possibly Jupiter and Saturn being so close (visually close to us Earthlings), my new to me Vector will be passing by Dave's Vector! Well, if the postal service estimates are right. So in the interim, I am back to enjoying the Parker adjustable.

Thanks again, Dave in KY for loaning me your Vector. Even with social distancing, I am getting close shaves!

Stay safe and healthy, yous guys!

An AC blade sampler from Try A Blade came in the mail, as well as the new to me Vector! So, I know from Dave's Vector that the Prolines worked well with me. Today I will use a Kai Captain Titan mild Protouch MG, which had great review on some other forum. I will find out how it does on my face. It's like early Christmas!

One of the things I like about the Vector is how audible it is while shaving. The Kai blade did well, but it didn't seem to have an increase in comfort. It may even have taken more strokes to get the same result as the Proline produced. Time will tell, it is all too new to me, this SE shaving and the Vector in particular. But NO buyers remorse!

Special thank you to Venkat for helping me out!

Early morning tomorrow, need to leave before the crack of dawn to get my wife to an insanely early out patient procedure in the southern part of the state.

Stay safe and healthy!

What a day.
It started well before, as my brother calls it, the butt-crack of dawn. We had to be at a medical facility 90 miles away by 6:30 AM. About 90 minutes after checking in, and them taking my wife back to the prep area, she reappears with a nurse. What? Wrong equipment ordered for the procedure!!! I know, we all make mistakes, but it still is so frustrating. Loss of sleep/poor sleep, the anxiety my wife experienced, and a long car ride there an back that did nothing to alleviate her discomfort. The silver lining is the rescheduled procedure is two weeks out and at a much more reasonable time. So that is good. And if I am honest, this mess up was for the best, as now we don't have to go through the holidays recovering from the procedure, which had a couple of after effects we weren't looking forward to. And, the rescheduled procedure, as far as the surgeon told us, won't have those effects to deal with. Something to do with the correct equipment? Not sure but we'll take it.

[this is shave related]
{I know, what a relief!}

An hour or so after shaving, I happened to touch my face (I swear, it was an accident!). Wow, so this is what I imagine smooth as glass feels!  I had achieved similar results with the Proline blade in the Vector, and it set a new standard for me.  But the way the shave yesterday with the Kai mild Protouch MG went, I wasn't expecting it to be so close. But there it was.  Made my pillow feeling different as my oh so soft face rested on it for a long winter's nap!  While late to the Vector party, I am so happy to have one, and so thankful Dave lent me his to  try (Again, I know, I keep banging away at this. But our community is filled with these wonderful acts of camaraderie that just warms the cockles of my heart!) I can hardly wait to shave again  Cool !!

Thanks! We definitely are. And now we can more thoroughly enjoy the backlog of classic Christmas movies saved on the DVR. We have a serious addiction to Turner Classic Movies, loving the 40s Christmas movies.
