I realize the entry date has past and the contest is over but I thought I would like to post anyway.
My favorite gear to date is actually one of the least expensive. I really like my fine accoutrements angel hair synthetic.
The reason I am posting this even though it is too late for the contest is because I wanted to thank Chris from TSE.
It is because of Chris, that I discovered fine accoutrements angel hair synthetic. To be honest, I would not have even tried a synthetic if I had not watched the tons of videos in which Chris touted the accolades of the "brush of the Gods"
When Chris suggested the Angel Hair brush as a cost effective means to try a plisson style synthetic, I jumped on it. I have to admit, I am a convert. I thought I was a badger brush guy forever but not any more.
This is only one example of how Chris has helped me learn about the world of shavedom. Of course the videos have been helpful, but I have reached out to Chris on numerous occasions( probably annoyingly so) for advise on a variety of things. He has always been considerate and helpful in all that I have asked.
Then on top of all that, Chris also promotes shaving by promoting this forum and doing giveaways? That is a class act. The stuff given is top notch as well. I personally would Love an icon. PAA soaps and aftershaves are top notch. Then to top it off with another synthetic brush? Very cool. I hope whom ever one this enjoys it and is appreciative.
As I said. The contest might be over but Chris deserves a shout out.
Thanks

Thank you very much for the kind words.  I really appreciate the direction Doug, Andrew and the other admins are taking this group so I  just wanted to do my little part to help and promote the group.   An honest & progressive friend of wet shaving is always a friend to meSmile

My Favorite piece of gear is my Wolf Whiskers 26mm Silvertip on a multi colored RCE Chubby Handle. It is my most prized brush and it is a lather monster. I'm on the August waiting list and can't wait to order one with a synthetic knot. Thanks for recommending Wolf Whiskers

The kit arrived today. Thanks Chris. I'm trying to get together with my friend tonight to give him everything. I'll see if he'll let me take a picture of him with it all.

Great to hear.  Again, tell him to be careful with that razor as it is an aggressive beastSmile

This isn't social media! Forums are as old as the hills!

Tell him I don't have a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any of that other fancy stuff either! Big Grin
