Shaving Kit Giveaway

I would have to say my most precious piece of shave gear is my Semogue 1305. After watching Con's review of the brush I figured I'd give this brush a try. After much use I completely agree the 1305 can compete with the nicer brushes and at the price point it is an excellent addition or even beginner brush.

My favorite Razor.... Actually there are two.  One from the past and one that my Daughter just had made for me for Father's Day.  For the past, it is a 1962 Gillette Slim H-2 adjustable razor that my parents gave me for my birthday.  It is actually my Birth razor that my Grandfather used and then it was given to my father and he had shaved with it.  It has been sitting in a drawer for decades with soap scum all over it when I told my parents about my wetshaving addiction .  They told me about this razor that they had and I told them that I would like to have it if they are not using it.  They sent it to me and it was my birth razor.  After three shaves, I shipped it out to Razor Emporium to be Rhodium replated.  I received it back the day before this Father's Day.  It ended up being my 2015 Father's Day Shave of the day.  I will continue to shave with this razor every Father's day from this point forward and I hope my son (21) will follow with the tradition once I die and pass it on to him.  Wouldn't you love to have your son shave with a razor that was his Great Grandfathers?  Now for the next Razor....  My daughter's razor and brush set that she just had someone made for me.  It will sit on my sink counter and I will use it as my main razor in my rotation of razors and brushes.  The Razor shaves great (after I replaced the head with a Maggard Version II closed comb head) and I will use it for years to come. Both, I will treasure always.  Both a gift from people I love.

My favorite wet-shaving product is the Speick splash. It's been called the "magic potion" because it really gets rid of redness and razor burn. And I love the scent too. Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite piece of gear is my 1960 Fatboy. It has provided the best shaves of my short wet shaving adventure. Thank you for you generous give away. Love the videos keep up the good work.

My most prized piece of shave gear is my Maggard MR18 safety razor.  It was my first (and currently only) DE razor, but I love it to death and it's an incredible piece of gear.  It always provides a smooth shave with no irritation even on my sensitive skin; it's been an absolute blessing coming for a cartridge razor which would leave my face red and splotchy after each shave.  I also used to have terrible acne, and a lot of it was a result of shaving.  Switching to DE has brought me clear skin which I couldn't be more grateful for.  The razor also gives me a chance to de-stress, relax, take a deep breath, and think.  Shaving has, in a way, given me an outlet for any tension in my life, and all around it's just an enjoyable experience that gives me something to smile about. wet shaving has done everything from boost my self-confidence, to bring me closer to my dad, and it's all in part to my MR18.

Thanks for the giveaway! your video's are entertaining and very informative.  You're one of my favorite wet shaving youtubers and you've really helped me get into a hobby that's brought me a ton of joy in the four or five months I've been involved.

My Batch 1 Mongoose complete set (Dub Legend & Dub Slim handles) is a cherished item of mine. I am so honored to have this set from the initial launching of the best safety razor in the world. Some might even say the razor of the gods.

My favorite piece of gear is my parker open comb. It was the first and only razor I have purchased after I got started with the micro touch one that I received as a gift. It was defiantly a step up from what I started with and it took some getting used to, but I have had nothing but awesome shaves with it!

I'm relatively new to DE shaving. I was a cartridge razor user prior to chemo.  During the chemo treatments I started using an electric razor as it was one less thing I had to concern myself with. So I finally decided to try DE shaving starting with a micro Touch /One. Two days later I bought an Edwin Jagger de87 and found it to be a wonderful experience.  So much so that I bought a '59 Gillette Fat Boy.  Thanks so much for all your great videos.

My 24" High Mountain Knot Whipped Dog brush from Larry. I have the knot sunk to 15mm, loft of 52mm. It's great for bowl and face lathering.
