Shave Count (DE: 531 SE: 9 SR: 847)

Pre Shave-
Strop: Tony Miller Notovan
Scuttle: PAA Brush Warmer
Splash and go

Shave-
Razor: Clauss SR
Blade: none
Brush: Simpson Berkely Badger
Soap: Hengrix Classics Badass (sample)

Post Shave-
Post shave lather
Dickenson’s Witch Hazel
AS: none

The Deets-
Went with another sample today, from Hendrix Classics, called Bassass. To my nose it is light on the sample, so I was curious how it would open up. Smeared a bit in the copper bowl and got to it. Whips up a nice lather, but it was still faint. I lost the scent during the shave and didn’t pick it up again. The only thing I can surmise is that I must already be Badass. Three smooth passes and I am BBS for the win! It was a nice shave and I wrapped it up with a splash of Witch Hazel. Life is good!

Soap: PAA Sangre de Drago

The Deets-
Been using this setup for the last two days, but there is a lot of soap to use up before it’s gone. This is one of several sets that will be a one and done. I like the soap and scent, but I am trying to work my way down to 10–12 permanent sets for rotation. There are three soap/AS sets that I would like to add, so I will be a bit working through these others. Three smooth passes and I am BBS for the win! A very nice shave. Wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! Yup, still enjoying this one. Life is good!

Home Front-
Turbo is doing a lot better with her stomach issues, you wouldn’t even know she was sick. But she has a few pills to finish up. Easy to sneak a pill in a hot dog bite for her. Now the Bully is having stomach issues and having skin issues. She went to the vet yesterday for a couple of shots. We also has three separate pills that she has to take. Not easy because she will not take a pill. Can’t sneak them in a treat either, she finds them and spits them out. She is a weirdo dog that actually chews her food. So we may have to force feed them to her. That’s all I have today.

Hey Tim, I am with you. One of the new cats needs a pill, and he does NOT like to take one. My wife and I both bear the marks of attempting to pill him! We're looking for a pill pouch, or a treat. The joys of having the so-called fur babies, right?!

Hey Eric.
The wife says maybe try Greenies pill pockets. Your vet may have samples so you don't buy a bunch. And have them be a fail. They come in Chicken,Salmon,Tuna and Cheese flavor.
Depending on the meds, you may be able to have them compounded into a transdermal pen. What is the medication? And she can be more specific on options.

Fluffy, I was getting ready to message you! MilkCrate, sorry for the derail.

Yes, Greenies are being sought tomorrow when we go to Augusta for an eye exam, as there is a Petsmart and a Petco on the same street.

The vet had peanut butter for dogs, and that worked once.

Mrs Fluffy, thanks for the list. We order some stuff from Chewy, so I bet that will be on the order.

The pill is a very small amitriptyline 10 mg. Pilling by hand harder, as this tiny (did I mention we are to split it?!) pill often sticks to a finger once wet by kitty saliva!

Thanks, folks, for the input! It is appreciated!
