The Deets-
Had an early morning shave and it was nice. I was going to stick with the Sangre de Drago but decided to go a different direction. I will preface with, I don’t use soaps based on season and have never given it a second thought. So I’m standing there trying to decide what to use and opened a few tubs for a sniff. I don’t do this, I just grab and go. Then I had a thought that my soaps are mainly warmer scented soaps and I was looking for something else. Something lighter, brighter. I dare say something maybe more summer oriented … oh my gosh, what are you people doing to me? So with that mess swirling around in my head, Piacenza got the nod.

Grabbed the Slim for a quick shave and it delivered the goods. A very enjoyable three pass BBS for the win! Yes it was! Then I finished up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain. A great start to the day. Life is good!

Home Front-
I mentioned a few days ago that the missus has been showing great improvements. She still has a couple of symptoms, but you can tell is is recovering and I am truly thankful. And a heartfelt thank you all for the thoughts and prayers that you sent her way.

So Turbo, the four legged terrorist, has been quiet the last few days and has managed to stay out of trouble. And I have been letting her outside every two hours to avoid accidents. So far so good until late this afternoon. I went to let her outside and she was into the missus decorative bed pillows. One Doxie was bedded down on one pillow and the terrorist was chewing holes in the other two. She also managed to find some paper somewhere and shredded it everywhere. Good grief!

This Birch handle came in the mail yesterday from Paul at Trotter Handcrafts. It is absolutely gorgeous and I can hardly wait to lather with it. Now to choose a knot.

It's wonderful that your wife is continuing  to recover.  Smile  I doubt the prognosis is as good for the pillows. Sad  Sorry.  Let's hope your patience is rewarded soon.

Thanks Mike! The missus is one tough little lady. And I think being vaccinated probably helped keep the hospital visit at bay. I wasn’t as concerned about the pillows at first. But the missus, she was not amused Big Grin But now that I think about it, I’m sure they will have to be replaced.
