Shave Count (DE: 497 SE: 9 SR: 773)

Pre Shave-
Strop: Tony Miller Plain Vanilla
Scuttle: none
Splash and go

Shave-
Razor: Dovo SR
Blade: none
Brush: Graydog Boar
Soap: Stirling Sheep

Post Shave-
Post shave lather
AS: CFG GTB

The Deets-
For today’s shave I stayed with Stirling Sheep and grabbed a different aftershave. GTB FTW! Sheep is a good soap and has a light scent. It lathers very well and the post shave is very nice also. At some point I think I will have to order a sample of Stirling Varen and check that out too.

The Dovo needed a bit of a pick-me-up so I rubbed it on the SB Ark for a bit last night. I’ve seen some bad reviews on the Dovo Best Quality regarding warped blades and what-not, but maybe I got lucky. I haven’t had any issues with it. I also took the Solingen to the stone. The Dovo delivered a very nice shave today, but I may hit the stone again to see if I can smooth it just a touch. A three pass shave was had and I am BBS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! Speaking of … it’s raining again today. That’s all I have folks. Life is good!

Hey Tim,

First off two  Happy2  Happy2 on the GTB.  Can't go wrong with that stuff.  Nothing fancy; just real good.  Secondly, and for better or worse, I been thinking about you.  This floated down my branch of the Facebook River today, and it seemed like something you might appreciate.  Heck, maybe you could even use it.

Big Grin Thanks for the laugh Mike. I think this puppy would lie like a used car salesman. The only thing I know she chewed up today is that fabric on the bottom of the box spring.

Thanks Dave! I laughed at that post of Mikes.

Deb’s fever broke, but the other symptoms are still there. I cheated and got a hamburger last night and she ate 3 fries and that was it. She didn’t want me to make her soup or anything. That is half a bowl of chicken noodle soup, Monday and 3 fries last night, since Friday night. She didn’t eat tonight. She has a virtual doc appointment tomorrow so hopefully there are some meds to help fight the symptoms.

Glad you are getting a consult. Can you tempt her with favorite foods, sweets, and the like? Will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. Scary stuff.
