The Deets-
So the shaves this past weekend were simple and utilitarian, but nice. I’m not terribly fond of this scent from Stirling, but it’s on deck this week. Had a great 3 pass shave and walked away BBS for the win! Caught the missus in passing and had her give me a sniff. When I asked what she thought, she said it’s ok. I told her, we are on the same page then. I’ll use it up and not replace it. Even though the scent is not for me, it’s not noxious and the performance is there. So there ya go. Life is good!

I don’t know, I just didn’t feel like the Alighieri today. It doesn’t stink, but to my nose it is kinda uninspiring. So let’s crank it up a notch with Executive Man. And a very nice shave was had. Life is good!

The Deets-
TGITHMF! That’s right friends and neighbors, it’s that time again. I am getting a jumpstart on a long weekend, thank goodness. So I decided to try something new and I have enlisted the missus to help. I am shaving with a different soap every day and the missus will give me the sniff test and proclaim “love it” or “leave it”.

The “love it” category will be a repurchase when gone. And the “leave it” will be a one and done. She has to smell me too, so her input will be valuable, within reason of course. I started this the other day and we have some results in. To that in just a moment. I broke out the Black Beauty today, just because. Had a great shave and that really helped me get through the day. I dig this scent too, in a fun kind of way. It ticks the boxes. Where does the missus stand? Let’s find out …

Nice late morning shower and shave today. Stayed with the Stirling, just because. I really like this WhippedDog boar in the Knothead handle, it really delivers. Had a great shave and walked away BBS for the win! Kind of a chill day today with a couple of errands.
