IKR?

We finally had a thunderstorm come in today and drop 3/4” of rain. But I think we are 19” down for the year.

Just keep an eye out for the skunk ape or other scary things that the rain may have awakened! Lol! I love camping but I can spook myself too easily!

I've been flat out all day with work and doc appointment for my mom. Had not seen the news of the torrential rain and flooding there in Dallas and Fortworth............sorry, didn't mean to appear to make light of a bad situation and hope the recovery etc goes well !!

Soap: HeV Duc De Santal

Post Shave-

Happy Tuesday! So, for the work week I am using Duc De Santal. It’s a lighter scent, but I dig it. As usual, I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain.

Speaking of, Sunday night and Monday brought us record rain fall. We had a mess down here with multiple freeways flooding and over 200 water rescues. My car is pretty low slung and thankfully I work from home on Mondays. That would not have been good. I just watched everything unfold on the TV.

I also have a potential wet shaving convert at the office. The subject actually came up talking about pipes and when I mentioned I shave with an SR, his eyes lit up. So, well see how that pans out. Last but certainly not least, the missus will be coming home tomorrow. Ellie and I are both ready. I think that’s all I have. Life is good!

The Deets -
Friday was my day off. So got one of the cars inspected and registered. Also took Ellie to the vet for her annual shots. After that, it was a chill day. I got word that there was a shit storm at work on Friday and I need to keep my head down for a while. I guess I stirred something up before I left, but I don’t know what. I may be walking into a hornet’s nest on Monday.

Saturday we spent the day going through and putting aside a lot of items to donate to our local thrift store. This thrift store supports a shelter for battered women and children, so it goes to a go cause. We have a bunch of things to load up and we are still going through things.

Today I started the day with a great shave. And the kit just delivered. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. I wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain. I am also BBS for the win! We went and had lunch with my stepdad. Now back home and chilling for the rest of the day. Life is good!
