in Jan 2020. What is adding to the schedule is I've time in there for checking stuff even after the machinists have checked the parts. I trust the shop but I need to do this for peace of mind. Additionally, I'm producing the parts sequentially instead of multiple parts at the same time. One part gets produced and then the mating part is next and so forth...I've double checked stuff over & over but I wanna follow this slow & steady process.

So Eric I'm sure members would like to know now that you've given a timeline on when the razor will be released will you at this time comment on the projected price of the Limited edition Janus and also on all the changes you've made to it. I know you mentioned to me the increase in efficiency where you said comparing it to the prototype that the new production version would be even more so. You mentioned that the current setting of 3 on the prototype will be a 1 on the production version. Am I correct?

Am I correct? You are correct about the blade exposures being more in this final design over the prototype you test drove. Add 0.002" to each setting in the prototype to get what the final design is at.
After this first batch, the machine shop will know exactly what it costs to produce each part. They will adjust their prices to me for each part accordingly. I will then adjust my selling price and tack on a reasonable profit. So I can almost say with 100% certainty that if I do production units after this, I will be selling for more than $500. I'm also looking at distribution...I've spoken with a few local shops that carry men's accessories so I will have to consider how I price the product so that it makes sense for them to carry the Janus Razor.
