From a competitive, efficiency and a test my SSSST technique standpoint that would absolutely be the WR2 1.35 SB Shave Off and how it ended with the most surprising results of all the Shave Offs when the Janus equaled the WR2 in efficiency on max setting and was smoother to boot.

Wish I had more time with it I'd run it up against the Ikon Tech or Muhle 2011 for another efficiency Shave Off and for a smooth comparison I'd have liked to run it up against the RS 10
Wow that is saying ALOT!!!For the Janus to be as efficient and smoother than the WR2 1.35 is something else. It doesn't look like they kickstarter will fill.

Yeah I was in denial and disbelief when it happened and I'd still like to revisit that one Shave Off just to confirm but the sides I shaved with the Janus lasted just as long as the WR2 1.35 SB and then it exceeded the CG Level 3 SB so yeah it's got to be true and the production one will be even more efficient and I highly doubt it will lose its smoothness and even if it did give up a little to gain even more efficiency it will still be what I consider very smooth!

Eric has an alternative plan to get the razors out even though it will take longer but I know of at least 6 more people plus myself that are signing up.. Some may wait till the last day to do it as I hear that is common place. All I can say it would be a darn shame to not see this razor come to production life. Can't wait to hear your comments on it as I think you're the first on the list for the pass around if I remember correctly.
Thanks Frank. Yes I think I am the 1st one on the list of try it can't wait to see how it is after all your positive feedback when will you contact me to get the information of my shipping address

Excellent job Dragonsbeard with the comparisons of the Janus with other extremely efficient razors. Even though I backed this razor day one I am surprised by it high efficiency. I hope to come close to what you have done when I compare it to what appears to be the smoother razor choices for daily shaving.

Good morning Mark and I’m sure you’ll do a great job using the Janus and comparing with other razors that are more daily shavers. You’ll get to try it on more different settings than I did I’m sure. Only one request from me is give it a go on Max setting vs your .94 WR1 .94 as I didn’t have enough time and of course your Ti RS 10.

Thanks my friend and I’m glad I listened to you and tried the Janus in a few Shave Offs. It surely exceeded my expectations by quite a bit.

Mark I am curious to see what setting compares to your Timeless 95. More and more information is always good.
Happy shaves

Jason I think Mark sold his Timeless Ti and his SS if I’m not mistaken as he wasn’t using it.
