Well if it was in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles I’d be there... but then you other guys wouldn’t!

Ok all jokes aside, Jgreenepa this sounds pretty cool, is it mostly to show off older/rare items?

There are a few on their meetup website: http://shavingcollectiblesmeeting.com/

In case anyone is interested:

This looks like their main website: http://shaveworld.org/. It has been around for at least 15 years, and the organization predates most or all of the current shaving forums. Here is another very old shaving website: http://www.safetyrazors.net/. If you click on the Books and Reference link, it can be seen that the collecting of shaving items goes back to at least 1970.

Phillip Krumholz has had a shaving collectibles website at one URL or another since since the very dawn of the current wetshaving revival. Here is his current site: http://krumholz.tripod.com/. A page on one of his older sites indicates he has been collecting since the mid 1970s or so.

It was an excellent meeting.  There was a presentation on the Barber Museum and Matt Pisarcik of Razor Emporium have a presentation on Gillette Oddities.
