Seiko Turtle (SRP777) - Seiko Appreciation Thread!

I picked this up recently as a reward to myself for the successful completion of a long term project.

Beautiful watch!  Congrats on the project completion, and the watch!

This turtle was keeping time at +15 spd, and I just couldn’t deal with it.  So I dropped it off with a local watchmaker who did an overhaul, and it has settled in to keeping time within 4 spd thus far.

It has been four days now, so I am timing it today to see where it is at tomorrow morning.  Overall I am pretty happy since this is a great knock around watch, and so comfortable on the NATO strap!

Keeping time at +1 second per week with the Atomic Clock’s time!

SBBN035 case fitted with the SBBN037 dial today!  It arrived on Monday, and I have been enjoying it ever since!
