I have a Dirty Bird and Sarah Bonnyman scuttles as well as a PAA. The DB and SB are good examples of handmade pottery available in a range of colours. The PAA is utilitarian. I think the ceramic will hold heat better than resin (PAA) but if you want to haul it along on travels, resin is much lighter and there is that little tea cozy blanket wrap to try to hold heat in better.

There’s also the Georgetown pottery scuttle. I always wanted one but never took the plunge. I would imagine they perform well and they look to be a little more refined than the DB /SB scuttles.

Not any more, since at least a year.
But they do ship with a microfibre drawstring travel bag.

A word of caution about the PAA travel scuttle: Do not push the supplied rubber stopper in too hard. It's a bit on the small side and I almost lost mine inside the scuttle.

Georgetown Pottery. I have both the G22 and G20. I started off with the smaller and liked it so much I got the larger one. The “seconds” are great values and, based on my experience, you’ll be hard pressed to find the flaw.

Thanks! Do you mean the G12?

Which do you prefer - the G12 or G20? If you had to pick one.

Thanks

Question for those that use scuttles. What temperature water do you put in it? Thanks!

I had a Dirty Bird in the past which I enjoyed but currently only have 2 vintage scuttles which also do an excellent job!
