Leave it in as when you remove it you drag the blade across the two blade "stops" on either end on the face of the razor thereby dulling the blade. It won't rust easily in the razor. If you must, soak the entire head of the razor (with blade therein) in a small cup of rubbing alcohol for a few minutes, shake dry and then leave out to dry totally. Alcohol is a water dispersant. I have left injectors loaded for months w/o a speck of rust.
As well, if you don't have a "blank" to load in the razor before loading a new blade then you will ruin the new blade as well. Use the blade you just dulled as your blank.
