Scent Ideas for soap makers

I am not sure if a thread like this exists here on the forum but i thought it would be fun to give some ideas to our artisans what to rake their brains next on.

I am sure most of us admire the scents in our soaps as much as we admire other features like water absorption, slickness, post shave feel etc.

I am into frags too and recently encountered Roja Dove Danger pour homme. It's an intoxicating fragrance and pretty well check all the boxes for a signature fragrance for me. I would have worn it for 10 days in a row out of last 12 days and I love to keep sniffing myself.

If there is a thing like "Voice of the customer" for artisans, let it be heard....

I vote for the following scents :

1. Danger pour homme by RD.
2. Sauvage by Dior

If anyone has tried Danger you may upvote it and also suggest what scents would you like your artisans to work upon in future.

Thanks for the revert. But a Danger scented soap would be certainly amazing.

That is very possible as I've been thinking about doing a soap like that for the last few months and have the organic materials to make it but I have to ask you a question would you wear it as a scent in an aftershave or cologne?  This is a question I'd like to ask customers. There are scents I love and can see making a shave soap out of with them but I'm not sure folks would wear them as a Aftershave or Cologne. I'm curious to hear your answer on this subject.

Looks like CBL soaps has a Morning Blend (previously called Breakfast Blend, it seems). Here's the description, not sure if this is what you were looking for:

'Made with REAL fresh roasted Arabica beans Morning Blend is a true wake-me-up.  Bitter black coffee with hints of fruity acidity this soap smells like fresh brewed Arabica.  While you might pick up the natural sweetness of Arabica bean coffee this is not a sweet scent…nor is it for the faint of heart.'

Edit: Just realized the request said 'set'. CBL dosen't currently make AS. So, the hunt is still on.

What? You don't want that stale coffee and cigarettes scent to start your day? 

I agree, I love a cup of coffee and the aroma of the freshly ground beans can be intoxicating but its not a scent I want to wear as a cologne or aftershave.
