I should have it tonight or tomorrow and will do a live shave on fb likely tomorrow. Doesn't surprise me that the scent is enjoyable to you. I am very much looking forward to it!

I wouldn't say much myself based on the first time use of a soap I have no knowledge of but after my first shave with Opuntia, it really enjoyed the way the lather developed on the face. It felt very soothing on the skin and took on water very easily yielding very beautiful and glossy lather. I can't speak much on the scent as it may take time for me to warm up to it. I hope it settles out a bit and becomes more pleasant to my nose. I think it may be the birch and jasmine notes coming across a bit sharp and strong. My face feels SUPER SOFT by the way so the claim of "deep moisturizing" abilities is already hitting a home run.
For me SV builds lather quicker than any soap in my rotation. Maybe Arko is just as quick. I have soft water but I can whip up lather in what seems like 10 maybe 15 seconds with my Semouge OC.
I bloom it, soak my brush then take a shower. Give my brush a few shakes and go to town. Loaded up enough soap for a 3 pass shave and any needed touch ups and still have plenty of soap in the brush.
I use felce 4.3 and the dolomitie.

Are you using a Semogue badger or boar? I have had both and enjoyed the boar but the badger was simply my first luxury badger brush at economy price. I was very happy with that brush.
As you say, bloom first, brush soaks, shower, I do the exact same steps. Use with warm distilled or filtered water and what it does is really dissolves the first layer or layers of the soap's surface. After that gets poured aside and you get the knot ready to grab at the soap, it will already start becoming lather as it has mixed with water and with be coating the hair. My guess is the 4.3 beta formulas will get you in the ball park of a 15-20 second light load (bloomed puck as instructed) will give you enough lather for multi pass shave with proper water ratios.
Glad to hear you enjoy Dolomiti ksblazer. That is probably the soap from SV that I happen to have used the most in shaves out of all of them. Felce 4.3 was more positive experience versus how much I liked Felce 4.0 when it first landed in USA.

From today the Asylum “Colonia” line, Limited Edition 2018 for the Bullgoose Shaving store.
As already highlighted, this is one of SV's most balanced soaps.

The technical characteristics are at the top, like all the production.
And the fragrance that pays homage to Acqua di Parma is fantastic.

Thanks also to the other two tools, the result was fantastic.
The small (in the tuft) Simpson M7 Manchurian has produced a ton of foam.
Dense, creamy, protective and fragrant ... with excellent conditioning well supported by the combined lotion.
On which foam the excellent Wosty (Wostenholm "IXL") flew gracefully and safely.
Also thanks to the excellent restoration of Altus@ilRasoio, which works small miracles.
