There will be more aftershave, toner, and salve for sale at ChatillonLux.com on Saturday, March 17 at 11am Central as it sold out so quickly today. Sorry about that. I used historical sales trends to predict the stock, but demand went so much higher than expected. I apologize to anyone disappointed.

Congrats to you and Scott on your very successful first run, Shawn. I blew my 2018 restraint today at 1:04 ET when I bought the soap, salve and two bottles of the aftershave. After a test drive, I suspect I’ll also acquire the Parfum.

The last time I got a compliment about my scent, it was a young lady in the office. She asked if I was wearing amber essential oil. I said, “Nope—sandalwood.” She smiled big and said, “I love sandalwood!” Of course, it was Santal Auster aftershave, a couple of hours after applying. Now if I can only get my wife to notice my scents...

Ha, well they're always the toughest critics. Just a heads up (and you may already know it, but just in case) the Parfum also includes (as supplementary notes underneath the sandalwood accord) oud, opoponax, styrax, patchouli and castoreum, but at the same time, if you enjoy the aftershave/salve, then I suspect you'll dig the Parfum. Just wanted to make sure Smile

Anyway, thanks and I appreciate it!

I would expect nothing else from an internet pro such as yourself Smile

Yep, I’m aware. What my words really meant was, “I need to give my wallet a rest before buying the Parfum.”

Sitting here. Reading this. Waiting for Top of the Chain to get his supply to take a crack at getting some. Hard to describe the feeling. Anxious, a little. Accepting that I might not get any. Hoping that I do.

Its always great to see an artisan succeed, especially when its one of my favourite artisans , well actually two of my favourites (Chatillon Lux and Declaration Grooming) but why wouldn't you save yourself the frustration of trying to predict the unpredictable and go the pre-order route?
