Now that I think about it, I will go shave with it now!
LOVE AoS scent HOWEVER after reading about the Sir Henry’s scent I’m sold, that will be my Movember 1 kit order and my first SH’s purchase. I think I read about an outstanding Bay Rum there too!

I wonder about how much Real SW is in Proraso. At $10 retail, I don’t think it’s much. However, I like it too. I have Fine AS, also pleasant. TOBS, I have to say, one of the least sandalwood-y scents around.

Proraso Red definitely has Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil in the ingredients list of all the products in the line.

AOS and Sir Henrys run neck and neck with me but Sir Henrys has a dry down to that real sandalwood oil that is just amazing.

Very very interesting. Lip is right, the dry down is 'woody'. The last 2 times i have worn it, i get a creamy lime citrus head note. It is a bright citrusy kind of green sandalwood scent. Nothing else like it. Appreciate it the more I use it.
Dang it. Going to have to make some whisker butter with it soon.

Well, since I am a sucker for a good sandalwood I ordered a tub of Sir Henry's to see what all the hubbub was about. It arrived today and although i have not used it yet I will comment off the cuff on the scent. It reminds me greatly of Cold River Soapworks Sandalwood shave soap (which was my previous #1), but this one is perhaps a tad deeper & richer with a slightly nutty undertone. Very, very nice indeed. I shall use it in a few days.
