RR Lupo .95 SB vs RR Game Changer 84-P SB

Love your inkwell stands! What kind of polishing cream do you recommend/use?

Cale ...those are RazoRock Acrylic 'ink well' stands. The polish is how they came from Italian Barber. But, if I were to polish them it would be with a polishing compound compatible with Acrylic. You don't want to smear the finish.

Thank you, Rocket_Boy. I was actually thinking of polishing my stainless razors. Any thoughts on what's best to use for that?

Cale...there are others who polish their razors and are more expert than I am. However, I would think a little Jeweler's Rouge or Green Oxide and 'elbow grease' would do the trick. You could of course use a Dremel tool and a polishing wheel, that would also work. My only concern about a motorized tool is rounding off, or smoothing the nice crisp edges of the Cap and Baseplate.

Any stainless steel polishing cream will do.
Use a micro-fiber cloth .
Personally I've used the Autosol brand cream with great success.

I use "Dursol Shine" cream from time to time to
"refresh" my razors .Slowly bringing them to a mirror polish ,each time
I polish them.

It is the easiest and least destructive way to
polish stainless steel.

I've used Autosol to put a razor edge on my carving axe. Good stuff!

Recently, I've been using my RR Lupo .95 SB almost exclusively. I have to slowdown using an 'aggressive' razor, but it helps with my overall technique.

The RR Game Changer 84-P remains my alternative. Although, I must admit, it doesn't get the 'love' it once did, now the 'Lupo' is on the scene.

Allright Rocket_Boy, you sold me on the .95

tried to order one with super knurled handle and its out of stock.

Svoll ...I think you'll be pleased with any of the RazoRock offerings. What's not to like, 316L stainless-steel, CNC precision in an affordable package? Be advised the "Super Knurl" handle is heavy.

I was not convinced I was going to keep the RR Lupo .95 SB. I've always gravitated towards 'mild' razors in the past. I hadn't really put 'aggressiveness' and 'efficiency' together in my mind. I get extremely close shaves, but I have to slow down and be mindful I'm using an 'aggressive' razor. When I switch back to the RR GC 84-P, my technique is much better and it improves my overall shave.
