Rocnel Open Comb

Hello all!

Have seen a couple photos around of the Rocnel open comb razor. Was wondering for those who tried it what their thoughts were about the open comb as well as the regular half DE blade razor?

I do not have a Rocnel razor but I am intrigued and will probably pick one up whenever they go on sale again.

can you post photos of the razor?

This is the new open comb model. Guess its not as available or widely known as I thought.

thanks for the photos. I had not heard that they were coming out with an OC version prior to this thread.

I believe that the OC version as well as the new Sing Edge model will be widely releasing in September. I had heard that a small batch of OC razors was already sold but have not seen a review yet.

darkbulb has both the Open Comb and the Closed Comb versions.

Very interesting. I would have preferred the OC as I like OC razors in general but likely would not pick up a second using 1/2 a DE blade.

I do think it very cool that they are continuing to evolve the product line though.

I was going to buy the closed comb but decided to wait for the open comb after I saw it. I feel the same way about buying both. Not sure if I need two razors that take a half DE blade. I am interested to see more reviews/thoughts about their new SE razor that takes the feather pro blades.
