Rockwell has been a credible Honest Company making an excellent razor at an excellent price but now this is getting ridiculous over 2 years and still not have it right.

I think they took on the project which they didn't realize would have so many challenges for them. Making different plates is a much different challenge than making an adjustable razor. The Rex adjustable had some problems but nothing like this

I had both razors I sold my Rex and kept my 6s. The Rex is an excellent adjustable razor but it didn't shave as smooth as the Rockwell for me. The Rocnel sailor adjustable is a smoother shaver the the Rex for me I only use the 6 plate on the Rockwell I wish they had a 7/8 plate

The Rex may have beat them to market and killed their chances. Why buy when it’s not stainless. Will it shave better than vintage Gillettes?

The Model t is a razor - not a Tesla

Which is why it shouldn't be this complicated IMO.

..........and if it sucks I just paid $49 for 50 feather blades. A buck each for a blade I actually like. If the Parthenon sucks I'll let my 3 year old nephew hammer nails with it.

All the more to respect the engineering that went into the Gillette Fat boy and Slim, Parker Variant, Merkur Progress and the Rex Ambassador.

Hopefully they resolve their issues at Rockwell. Looks like Weishi will beat them to the punch if they replicate are fairly inexpensive TTO adjustable that shaves well.
