So I went ahead and ordered a tuck of 5 blade to test out since the opinions are mixed but seem to lean towards the positive. Not to mention the free shipping and me being only... 3.5 hours North from where they are located, ish Big Grin lol I'm interested to see how they work, for sure, and if it means helping to support a Canadian company, then all the better! Hope they work out for you as well as they did for me. I've been really impressed and ordered 100 before I was finished with my initial tuck. I have also been very impressed with the speed of service and delivery.

Since I'm on an ordering frenzy right now, I placed an order too. I have noticed that feathers are some hard blades compared with others. (I have a routine, I put old blades back in their wrapper, and snap them shavette style) Since Feathers are waaay to sharp to use in my Old Types, it will be interesting to see how they perform with an exceptionally stiff blade, considering I shim my blade in my OTs and they were made for the thicker DE blades of the day.

I received a tuck with my Rockwell Razor 6S. The first shave with these I was not impressed (using them in the 6S - base plate 4). They were sharp for sure, but not particularly smooth for me (against a very coarse, stiff beard). I tossed the blade after its first use. I agree with other reviews that these do feel substantially thicker than other blades. I shaved with a fresh blade today in my R41 (risky given the perceived lack of smoothness, but it had been 4 days and the R41 would take that down quickly)...I was pleasantly surprised today! I had a socially acceptable shave with the first pass - irritation free. I completed a 3-pass shave. The 2nd pass felt WAY smoother compared to the first. I did nick myself under my chin, but that's just learning razor/blade combo. Using an alum was painless except where nicked. I normally use Astra SPs in my R41 - these still were not as smooth, but the shave was near identical.  Given the price and free shipping, I'd consider a purchase in the future.

Finally got to try a shave with these blades today, and, well, it was only the first shave. First run out with my ATT M1 and the first pass was acceptable, but not as good as my normal 1st pass with, say, a Voskod, but it was good and no irritation. Sharp but not overly smooth to my skin. So, here's hoping that the second shave will be better, and I think it will be, I have high hopes for these blades Smile I'll keep going with the M1 until I think the blade is done, then I'll load a new blade in a different razor and see how it goes in there, maybe a Standard razor! The last thing I needed was more blades, but after reading through the thread here I found myself ordering 100. Thanks guys, thanks a lot for feeding my addiction!

Why on Earth would you buy 100 of a blade that you have never tried before, especially one such as this with such mixed reviews? That's like buying a house for a woman before even the first date! Rolleyes

This is far better:

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
