Yes I received it the other day, and I kept leaving it at the shop accidentally. I finally brought it home today and will shave with it in the morning.
The build quality is a night and day difference between the kickstarter version- This new one is much more refined, and it's an absolutely stunning looking razor.

I am thoroughly impressed with the new Rockwell 6S. I was a believer in the concept with their original kickstarter edition razor despite it's well known issues, and I was able to use the first edition with some success after I dialed down some of the variables. I still liked it, but I had to be a bit more careful using it.

The new MIM Rockwell razor throws all the old concerns out the window. It is impeccably built and very easy on the eyes. It's weight is substantial but not obligatory.
My shave this morning was effortless on the #2 plate. Very mild, almost too mild- which makes me excited to ramp it up and try the more aggressive plates (a total of 3 plates with 2 "adjustments" on each plate). This is a good thing though, the previous version had very aggressive plates even on the lower settings which alienated a large number of folks. The guys at Rockwell listened, and adjusted the new razor accordingly.

Not only am I a believer, but I imagine the Rockwell will now be my go-to choice in the morning.

I did not use the Rockwell blade as I wanted to give the razor a run-through with a blade I am very familiar with (Gillette Super Platinum Blacks)

When I get mine (hopefully before the end of the year) I will start with #6 plate and work backwards. Since #6 is less aggressive then the ATT H1 plate I should be in great shape.

I received an email that the revamped Rockwell 6S pre-order for December is almost gone. The next pre-order will be in January 2016' Orders are being shipped this month hopefully before year end.

Thanks for the heads up Jerry- I received the update as well. I had pre-ordered a week ago or so and my order still shows as unfulfilled but hope to receive a unit from the recent production run to try out.

V2 looks light years ahead of the 1st version!
