This razor is awesome. I have read that the early implementations were quite problematic. However, the new versions are superb. Want a machined stainless steel razor? Don't want to pay $200, $300 or more? Get this. With the various aggressive levels of plates you get, I would find it difficult to believe that an appropriate level of aggressiveness is not attainable.

I am not a shill, nor am I connected in any way to the Rockwell people. Just want to give a useful shout out to the community.

A great razor.

Wanted to point out that it's not machined, but made via MIM: https://rockwellrazors.com/blogs/journal...ockwell-6s

Not machined, just to be clear, which is also why it isn't more expensive. It is made with Metal Injection Molding. I believe all the plates, the head, and even handle are made with MIM, but I could be wrong about the handle.

I'm not a shill either but agree Teddyboy Smile Kidding aside, it is a wonderful shaver and agree that you can't beat it for the price point. Versatile, nice quality and superb customer service.

They are working on the Model T as well. TTO adjustable that I have a great interest in based on experience with the 6s.

Believe it or not, I kept the original version, PIF the second version, and sold the final version.

Sorry about the machining error. I guess I got caught up in the outbreak of stainless steel razors. I have a few from Ikon and Above the Tie, but I like the Rockwell the best.

The Model T is going for $449!!! You guys are amazing, God bless y'all.

I started at plate #4, went to #5, getting ready to start #6...Thoughts so far:
#4) shaving nirvana!! Smooth, efficient, very close shave...this plate sold me on the whole system, it was that good!!
#5) first shave I thought I bit off more than I could chew, had to slow down and watch what I was doing...reminded me so much of the Barbasol floating Head, that I dug it out and compared them head to head!! Love #5!!
Have been using Gillette Silver blues..
