It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

What a great shave today. Paired it with a Topaz Platinum blade and it was near perfection. Just an excellent feeling shave with about as good a feel and balance that a razor can give. I say this because I am not a fan of the shorter handles as I like to have some maneuverability on razors in terms of hand positioning. But, the balance and weight bias of the Rex just feels so good. I have never, ever had a bad shave with this wonderfully made tool. Precise and very comfortable is what I can sum up overall as to how the Rex has performed for me. A true pleasure to use and view....

Just used mine about 1/2 hour ago. Never going to part with this one. I'll admit I wasn't a buyer at $250, but at $180 I couldn't resist........because of all of you enablers. Tongue

Is it just me thinking that the stand is too big and rather out of proportion?

I thought it looked a little big, but then I looked at my puck style Wolfman stand and it looks like they are a similar size. I think it just looks big since you can see the whole handle.

The Rex stand is much larger than the Wolfman puck. It’s oddly massive.

I don’t get how you guys think that THAT is an aesthetically accomplished design. For me it’s so out of proportion that I can’t even look at it. Maybe the Stork guys will do a better job, as they are now making good stands as well as handles

I like it. It makes a statement. It's also impossible to knock over.
