Nice Part One review, darkbulb. Anxiously awaiting the rest.

Would be interested in how many units were sent gratis for evaluation. You weren't the only one, were you? Not being an 'early adopter', I'll be looking forward to hearing the comments from those who do plunge right in. The concept is sure interesting and explains the high cost.

Stunning razor, and it looks like very fine work indeed, but 285$? Too much for me. I wish people good luck with it, but at this price point it should also make coffee before the shave Smile

It only grinds the beans, no insulation from the hot water with all that stainless

Nice initial review and pictures! I love the look of that razor. It reminds me of a big chrome grille on a car from the 40's or 50's.

Thanks, just loaded a blade in it and am off to snap some photos and shave and head out the door.
Will post a shave report with photos when I catch a break later in the day Smile

Man, didn't take long for them to sell out on all their razors. All out of stock as of this morning...

Yeah I heard back from Matt at TR and they had indeed received a lot of interest.
They'll have a new batch back up on the site end of this week.

Last year, when OneBlade hit the market, everyone was on the fence with its high price. Just remember the reactions people had on the shaving fora about it. Now, a lot of wet shavers have one, even those that said the worst things about the price, how foolish is etc. Things have changed a lot after a few good reviews. People were intrigued to try it.

It's like a Deja Vu. Wait a few months and then look at the SOTDs.

These guys seem to know what they're doing, giving a few razors gratis, I don't know how many, to forum members in order to give it a try and write a review. I don't imply anything, by the way, like compensated reviews etc.
