I’ve been searching for a great citrus scented shaving soap for a while now. I’ve also been looking to try (and review) an artisan-made product.

So I’m happy to report I finally found a soap that checks both these boxes: RazoRock Essential Oil of Lime. I’ve heard great things about RazoRock soaps and had high hopes.

Good news: this soap did not disappoint.

First of all, the price. A great value for the cost, 4.2 oz worth of quality product.

As for the lather – it lathers really easily on my badger brush and the lathering process works well in the bowl it comes in. Great packaging and very easy to open in the shower.

The lime scent is great – very sweet smelling, almost like lime candy. I smell nothing else but lime with this one and that exactly what I wanted. It's a nice neutral scent in my opinion - not overly masculine or feminine.

It's obvious from the name of the soap, but it contains essential oil of lime. This is also one of RazoRock's soaps that contains argan oil, which is known to help hydrate and moisturize the skin. An added bonus ingredient in my opinion.

In my opinion, only one thing is lacking, and that’s strength of scent. The scent is good, but it could be much stronger. It doesn’t linger in my shower or on my skin.

Overall a great product from a cool company with a neat backstory. If you like the smell of limes I definitely recommend trying out this shaving soap. If you've already tried it, let me know your thoughts!

I create my own lime soap...I take lime essential oil and Blend it in with an unscented soap. this way I can increase or decrease the amount of lime that I smell. I do this with different essential oils and cologne and aftershaves. Works beautifully it's like I create my own soaps.

+1 for the Don Marco soap.

mel1189 I couldn’t agree more on the scent strength... my only issue with RR soaps has always been their weak fragrances.

I personally dont like weak fragrances in soaps but then if the fragrance is too strong it sort of messes up with the aftershave. The RR soaps are not weak, their scent is just right but the p160 soap scent is over the top strong....

All rr scents that i have and are in the normal area of scent strength they last around hour or so but the p160 and lavender wow they can linger for more than 2hrs... Thats why i like medium strong scents so i can enjoy the scent of the aftershave

RazoRock Don Marco is one of my favorites, but I have the Essential Oil of Lime in my cart. Thanks for the review.
