David, I am glad you are enjoying them. There is a real boom of good UK artisans at the moment. I will probably end up trying Wickhams 1912 soap when I see a few reviews.

Not sure about the Wickhams, myself, Oli. I tend to prefer the tallow based soaps. I tried three of the OSP soaps, last week. Nice scents, excellent lather and shave, but the post shave was a little down on the P&B, and the US artisans, I enjoy.

Great feedback Gents- I was hanging tight on ordering for the new scents and Spitfire is now backordered. I understand from Kelly that it will be back in stock both at Maggard's and PB direct shortly so plan on picking up a couple of these soaps due in large part to the positive feedback from you guys.

Thanks!

David, I must admit I am not a current fan of the Wickhams current super smooth soap, the scents are good but performance was lacking for me. As its British I will give it a go the new one (most likely).

I enjoyed OSP, I agree the post shave is not as good as P&B. My biggest bug bear with Jame's soap is that I think it's scents lack the quality I look for. I hope this improves.

It's still hard to knock MW from top spot and I know you are a Mikes fan which is also a terrific soap.

Kevin, when I get back Albion should be waiting for me which I am very interested to try.

Kevin, 18th July is when Spitfire becomes available again from P&B, along with Denali, also. Both Albion and Denali are excellent scents.

Just picked up a few new ours yeaterday:

Sanskrit
Solaris
Albion

I used the Sanskrit so far, the scent evolved since I scraped a bit from the tub. It does remind me a bit of Old Spice, very nice scent.

I have tried all the scents from P&B accept for Denali so far. Favorite scents are Sanskrit and Solaris. The Solaris is a nice lemon peppermint type of scent, the Sanskrit is not one I cared for at first, but it has turned out to be my favorite scent from P&B, very nice interpretation of Old Spice. Not exact but the notes mix very well with eachother once lathered. One of the best performing soaps I have tried, very impressed with their formula.

I used a sample of Phoenix and Beau (Citra Royale) today.

I liked it quite a bit.   Post-shave feel was outstanding - aftershave was not needed (but since I had an unused sample of Fourth & Pine, I splashed some of that anyway).

This is how I rank the best soaps I have used so far:

Nuavia > MdC > Pure20 > Sudsy Soapery > Phoenix and Beau > Midnight & Two > I Coloniali

I purchased a tub of B&M last weekend, but I have not shaved with the soap yet.  I'm sure (from what I've read) that it is going to fit somewhere on the list.

I picked up my Albion scent from the post office today, opened it up and was really pleased with the scent. I went in for the second sniff, but was kind of take back...I smelled ammonia. I have heard people smelling ammonia from the Osidian scent, but has anyone else gotten the same experience with the Albion?
