As mentioned, I had ordered (3) additional soaps from Michelle and the shipment arrived while I was on the road this past week.
I had ordered Lemongrass/Blue Gum, Poggio dei Pini and Sweet Briar. The first two arrived as expected but instead of Sweet Briar I received Barbershop instead.
I dropped a note to Michelle and she immediately responded indicating that she would ship the Sweet Briar today and to keep the Barbershop. Excellent service and now I will be up to (6) of her soaps!
Here are some quick thoughts to share:
I used the Poggio dei Pini over the weekend and as expected the performance was excellent. The scent was unique in that it had an evergreen quality however reminded more more of walking through a pine or spruce forest in the summer where you pick up on the scent of the pine resin itself. There is a sweet quality that I find subtle but extremely pleasant- this is a winner!
Used Lemongrass and Blue Gum today. I enjoy the lemon scent but from the tub was not picking up on the Blue Gum until I lathered. Then it became an extremely well balanced experience and I absolutely love this as a summer soap. Very refreshing and I just wish I had picked it up sooner!
Both great performers- Barbershop on deck for tomorrow

Used Barbershop today- both the tub and the puck were labeled Barbershop but I swear I picked up tobacco notes in use. Must be wishful thinking as I wait for the Sweet Briar.
Nonetheless, the performance as I have come to expect was outstanding. The scent is very "clean" but balanced; not too powdery nor heavy with a slightly "sweeter" quality than say a B&M Seville.
To be honest, I have always struggled in understanding what constitutes a Barbershop scent as to me and my recollection it is always a collection of scents that typically include Clubman + powder that evoke thoughts of actual Barbershops I have frequented throughout my life.
Regardless, this is a very impressive scent/soap, extremely pleasant to use and a happy accident that led to the chance of trying.

FWIW I find the MW barbershop to be very similar to Stirling's barbershop, albeit the Stirling has a more powerful scent strength and may be slightly more sugary/sweeter. That genre of barbershop are some of my favorite scents.

Coincidentally, I have the Stirling Barbershop as well and completely agree with your thoughts- slightly sweeter still than MW but both VERY pleasant soaps to use.

Thanks for the post its great that your doing this can't wait for the other reviews Great work for the community
Mystic Water is one of the best soaps I've tried. The post shave feel is amazing and lasts into the next day. The Lily of the Valley is an awesome scent if you like floral and the Marrakesh is very good too. Right now I'm working on a sample of Coconut Lime Verbena which has been a great summer scent. Let us know how the Sweet Brier is. I'm curious because I love tobacco scents and I already know the performance of the soap is awesome.
