Good morning John. Unsure on the blue to black. If you're referring to the ferrule, the before was oxidized and I guess combined with the quality of lighting gave it that look. The after is after I removed the oxidation, polished, and repainted the logo and lettering.

Thank you. For the handle I sanded it to remove all the previous coating and buildup then used Min Wax Golden Oak finish. The natural wood combined with the golden oak then the poly coat became what you see.
