With some artisans closing I wanted to give Reef Point some praise. If you like tallow-based soaps, Reef Point is superb and fairly priced. Reef Point, Stirling, and B & M are tops for tallow. I used the Dragon's Blood last night with my Feather AC and had a superb shave. And for those of you who like the scent to linger, the Dragon's Blood has staying power. I didn't even need the aftershave, which I also have. I highly recommend RP and they usually send a sample or two as well. Great performance, great scents, great price.

Good call stroppinglad! Reef Point makes excellent soaps and the Espresso is by far the best coffee/espresso scented soap I've owned. Stirling is also excellent and, my second favorite soap right behind B&M. Reef Point and CRSW are a close tie for me in 3rd.

I agree! Reef Point makes excellent soap. I love Test Depth, Sandalwood, and Tranquility. Top notch performance and scents. Very generous artisan, as already stated.

I am with you on this one, I am a Reef Point fan and I agree with Hobbyist on the recommendation for Espresso. Admiralty is also one to look out for particularly for those who like the mix of citrus and woods.

I do agree that Reef Point makes wonderful products. I own Bergamot and Ginger, Aviator, and Admirality. Close to pulling trigger on fougere sanatal and submariner also. These soaps lather into nice creamy lather, and do it consistently. They are easy to lather even in hard water, but will need a bit more water. Though if you are experienced with B&M, Stirling, MW and the likes then you know water needs.

Scents on mine are strong but not too strong! The scent is there when shaving, and enough lingers to be pleasant for the inspection by the family afterwards. I tend to enhance with aftershaves. Their balms and aftershaves are to notch too.

When I get a chance I will added some thoughts on the scent profiles.

That would be great Monte- Reef Point has been on my To Do list for a long while but have not tried any to date. Look forward to your breakdown as I believe I'll have to pull the trigger. Thanks in advance.

I picked up the Reef Point Dragon's Blood a few months back and I concur with stroppinglad It is an excellent soap and definitely worth having in your rotation.

Thank you, I also feel the same way towards supporting lesser known Artisans. I do like the Submariner I got from them, it smells really nice and pleasant, not cloying at all for a robust scent.

I love Reef Point Soaps! I believe I have used every scent, or close to every scent...and love them! Their performance is also spectacular! They were one of the first artisan soap makers that we decided to stock and they are one of our best sellers!
