Recommend a Beard Balm

I have a very wiry beard. Think wire brush on a chin. I have used Beard Oils (too greasy), Waxes (ok, but too sticky). I have seen quite a few beard "Balms" in the stores, but would really appreciate some advice from this forum.
I am looking for a product that softens the hair; ideally unscented; and offers a modicum of control.

Rocky Mountain Beard Company Unscented Beard Balm is an excellent product (available on Amazon). Not many unscented choices out there.

Thanks for the suggestion Andrew. I received the product today and I like it a lot. The fact that it is unscented is icing on the cake.

good to hear. I bought it because it was unscented as well - I didn't want it clashing with my aftershave choice of the day.

I have come to like a few items for my chin whiskers.

True North Beard Co. on Etsy, unscented available as well a plethora of pleasing scents. I like the Viking version.

Chantillon Salves (4th & Pine up at the top) These work nicely for beard balms as well.

Mystic Water's Whipped Shea Butter (lavender one's nice but she offers unscented as well).

It's actually nice and very practical to be able to use one product for a couple of different uses,

the Whipped Shea Butter is aces on freshly close shaves and shines on the beards as well.

The salves from Chantillon are always in my den and used for dual purpose as well.

Not quite a balm but bossman beard jelly is my absolute favorite beard product. Its a mixture between a balm and oil and makes the beard feel fresh and slick and also provides a bit of hold. Definitely reccomend it. Both the magic and stagecoach scents are lovely!
