Rockwell 6S is hands down the loudest razor I've ever used.

I've got only one razor, so I've really got nothing to compare to.  Sometimes I hear what seems like very loud and not necessarily appealing feedback in some shaving videos, but it's hard to judge what it would sound like in person.

But while we're on the subject, this brings up a pet peeve of mine.  It's audible feedback, not audio feedback.  Audio refers to the electronic representation of sound.  If you're making a YouTube shaving video, you're hearing audible feedback.  If you're watching a YouTube video, you're hearing sound after its been converted to audio.  We can probably thank my favorite wet tuber PaulH for spreading this term, LOL.

if you want to find out what these gents are talking about in the cheapest way possible, pick up an old GEM SE razor (GEM 1912 should suffice) for like $5-10 on ebay and have at it.

it could be his accent. Tongue

Chaddy Since I came back to this DE razors, just one year ago, ATT M2, open comb is the most singer from what I have, but my brother in law and myself have just designed a razor head in alluminium and what I'm feeling is that it sings a lot. Maybe that's due to the lack of weight, so the blade tumblers and the sound returns increased. Curious effect.
BTW, we don't sell yet, just testing and designing.

Now I haven't tried all of the razors out there and I suspect I won't have time to do so before the end, however, I find that the Feather ASD2 with a feather blade almost sings.  Now I have tinitus so its possible that its all just sound (voices?) inside my head.  The ikon OSS has a nice ring to it as well.

My most audible ones are bakelite or plastic.[Image: ueKMSGY.jpg]

A couple of German slants and a Neillite 400. I also have a mulcuto that's pretty loud.
