Not really very impressed - if you're going to set up a notification system you should at least use it. Kind of makes me feel like it was just a diversionary ruse for the suckers. Never even tweeted it. Thats fine though, I'll be able to get feedback before I decide whether I even want to buy it. Lets face it, IB's no Wolfman and this slant costs almost as much as my WR-1 cost so the reviews better be pretty good if I'm going to even think about buying it. Anybody seen one on ebay yet?
I wonder if emails went out in a limited number, matching the number of razors available this time around, and based on the order email sign-ups were received? Since there is a limit of one per person, and knowing there would be more demand than razors, wouldn't it make some sense to do it that way?
I did get an email, and I am fairly certain I was one of the first to sign up for notification. If my guess is correct, I won't get an email when the next batch of Wunderbars is complete, and the next 100 people on the list will get emails.
Just a guess, but that's how I'd do it to avoid having my server crash, and keep things relatively fair to customers.

that's what my assumption would be as well. no point in sending out an email to hundreds or thousands on a list when there's only 30 or 100 available or whatever.

Thinking the same thing, I'm slightly annoyed but the bright side is at least we will get to see reviews first.

That makes sense to me. I guess I never thought about that way. It really doesn't bother me though either. Actually better because I can hear about others experience before deciding whether I want to buy or not.
