That's your problem, you fell asleep and missed out.

You don't have to go on a 2y waiting list for one of Joe's razors and they don't require a second mortgage to own one. You just have to be online at the right time and he usually makes everyone aware of when it is. I've been lucky a few times and never had to spend more then 5 minutes trying.

That said, I'm glad you are sitting this one one. It just means more opportunity for those of us looking to obtain one.

Hopefully there will be plenty to go around.

Looks great! I do believe Joe said this will be a full production razor so there should be plenty to go around.

If there are then I will try one for sure. I already tried the SS hanging around my computer though. Got one and sold it (For the same price that I bought it though I ain't greedy lol). I hope it will be available without hanging around my computer though and it is a much larger production then some of his past razors.

Frustration? It's just a razor. That he did as a hobby. What's next? Riots? Do people throw a tantrum because they are frustrated that they missed the bus on the way to work? It may be a good razor. It may be a superb razor. It may be the greatest razor ever created, and it bestows special powers to the lucky user. At the end of the day, it's just a razor. If it's worth the time and money, find one on eBay.

Haha that's just silly. Perhaps frustration was a strong word, perhaps disappointment is the more appropriate term? It is certainly annoying when you want to buy something and it's not there. I don't know about you but I don't know anyone being jubilant when they couldn't get something, of course there will be feelings of annoyance there, what did you expect? We are not zen monks here, some of us are hobbyists and collectors.

And nope I'm not spending that much on an aluminum razor. I don't think it's magical razor, I have a feeling that it may have been overhyped, but not by Joe mind you. This hobby is a YMMV thing, it might have been the best to some people, and those who couldn't get one was understandably curious.

I'm very happy with my Rockwell, no way I'm spending the ridiculous amounts vultures are asking on eBay.

I'm still curious about this razor though, and I'll go buy it from Joe if I think it's something I would like. Not on eBay.

So this is the discussion now? Dictionaries?

I admit English isn't my first language, but is this what we are talking about now? For what reason? To mock those weren't able to get one?

Anyway I didn't want get this thread off topic, I merely expressed my thoughts about what you said that you don't get it. Of course you don't get it, you already got one. See the irony there? Lol.

Sorry for the OP, I shouldn't have chimed in like that, now dictionaries and riots are being thrown.

My opinion stands, hopefully it's a good razor and hopefully it's available to all those who want one. Even those who don't have dictionaries.

It all comes down to marketing IMO, the whole idea of a limited edition drives demand and results in inevitable disappointment for those unable to acquire the item. Its a funny aspect of human behaviour that having something that others cannot obtain makes it sweeter. I've observed this in one of my brothers. This brother has made a lot more money than me and our other brother - he would say its because of hard work and superior intellect, I'll grant him the hard work but I believe a good deal of luck and timing was involved - in any case what I've observed is that in his book winning isn't as sweet if there aren't losers. Having something, no matter how wonderful, isn't as sweet if everyone else has it too. So it is with razors and shaving soaps, limited releases with immediate sell out or waiting lists that you can't even get on to. Its all aimed at creating buzz around the product and distinguishing the product in a crowded marketplace. Its all marketing and I feel so manipulated and I still want to get one of those RazoRock slants! Smile

Props to Joe for designing them and offering them, some people like them and some don't. Sorry no props for you, not because you bought one, but because you closed your office door and bought couple. Did you waited a little while to cash out on the extra razor?

These gents need to read the dictionary more.
Here we go again, making fun of others over spelling mistakes and let me guess English is the only language you speak correct? For example I speak more than few languages and I consider English my third language even though I live now in the US. Languages are so much more then how they sound to us when we hear them but don't understand anything, you should put a little more effort and learning some. This is coming from a guy who works in a construction and speaks 4 languages, and yes I enjoy my job.

Enough already.

Speaking like a true champ who closes his office door and purchase couple of razors? what else you do when you close the office door?

I really wanted to go construction worker nasty on you, but then I remembered one of the mods having to delete my post few weeks a go because I called out someone on their BS. I stand by my word Mod you see? lol

Thanks Blagoja Rajevski - community, let's try and keep this thread on point and avoid personal back and forth. I know it's frustrating when you can't land something in limited supply as I have been there too but won't lessen demand nor create more supply by getting off topic.

Thanks much.
