Slyfox send email to Joseph from Italian Barber along with the photo and see what he has to say, I'm 100% sure if your synthetic brush feels stritchy you should be able to replace a new RazoRock Plissoft "BEEHIVE" synthetic brush without any cost for replacement.

But never this bad, usually it's just a few hairs like maybe 10.

The upside down hairs are flat and squarish while the  ormal tips are cream colored and ziggy in all my 14 synthetic brushes I've never seen so many upside down hairs on a brush. I lost hope of getting them all without spending hours on it(which is tedious and hard on my eyes) and probably comprising the knot taking so many hairs out.

This is my 6th rr brush. The others were good the first was and is amazing and my 2nd softish brush with only 2 upside down hairs found to date.

Wow that sucks. You can see them in the picture. They all have a white dot at the tip. Maybe that's the reason my Plissofts felt a little prickly in comparison to the Tuxedo. I never thought to look for upside down hairs! I stopped using them in favor of the Tuxedo, Cashmere and Maggard black synthetics.

So far customer support isn't going well. Was going be putting together shave kits for my friends but guess I may have to use Maggard's. Perhaps this is why recently I've seen people say rr brushes aren't soft. My 24mm is super soft but I bought in over year ago. Maybe it's the cost of ramping up production with poor quality control? DisappointingSad especially since rr has better handles in my opinion. More comfortable.

Here's zoomed in and circled . The upside down ones seem to be more flat then the right side up hairs.

How's the Maggard black? Wish they had one in a handle. I'm looking for a cheap brush and razor to send to friends. Trying keep brush, razor, soap, blades, around $30 since they might not get into shaving and throw them out, but want it to be good products so they don't hate the experience

I love it as a slight change of pace. You can definitely tell the difference in fibers. They are coarser than the others, but still very soft on the tips. Being coarser fibers, it probably eats up more soap too (which isn't necessarily a bad thing for most of us, lol). I wish mine was bigger than 22mm though. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's the same knot as the "Game Changer" and "BOSS" synthetics. I haven't used either of those though so I can't be sure.

Also, just an FYI, Maggard does have the black synthetic in a handle here, http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/mag...ze-handle/.

EDIT: Completely disregard the reviews that say this brush is like the Satin Tip or Omega S-brush. Not even close.

Seems my choice is get half the cost back or pay $5-10ish to shipmit to Canada. I think I'm done with ib, Maggard's has way better customer service. One shouldn't treat customers this way for something that's not the customers fault. Was going spend at least $60 in next few months for friends not counting things I'd buy for myself. I've bought a lot of my stuff from ib, I love my other rr shave brushes, p160, I wanted to try Dead Sea soap and some of their razors, But I can't in good conscience purchase more from ib, and recommend others don't either or at least be wary that if something goes wrong you'll be poor treated.

On that note is there anyone who could drill knots out of a handle and glue a 28mm Maggard's knot in?

Slyfox, check out Groomatorium. They have a decent selection of RazoRock stuff including The Dead Sea. Or....if you want, I could fix up that brush for you and send a sample of Dead Sea back with it so you can try before you buy. It's a nice soap, IMO the best RR has to offer. I haven't tried SMdF although I think it's the same formula.
