Huh?

Just kidding.  Thirty eight (38) minutes after I placed my order, I got a UPS tracking number.  The order obviously hasn't been picked up, but UPS lists it as "Shipment Ready for UPS".  I only mention this because IME Italian Barber does as good a job as anyone when it comes to fulfillment, and if you read their yellow on red "Corona Banner", you know they are impacted just like the rest of us.  So to make a long story short(er), they deserve some props.

Now that I may have jinxed myself, we will see how long it takes for my gear to get to Virginia in these difficult timesConfused2

I’ve had a Yates Razor sitting at the border to come into Canada for 6 days now and no movement. If he’s shipping from Toronto, could be a while.

If it’s from buffalo (as I’ve heard some come from) you’re in good shape

I have been ordering several Gealousy knots from A.P. Shaves lately because I know I won’t be getting my other handles back from Srdjan in Australia for a few weeks and those have been flowing pretty well across the border from Canada to the US. I’m hoping these new razors won’t be a problem.

Hmmmmm....I told myself after a recent small Maggards order that I was done shaving-related shopping for a while, plus my Blackland Vector is awesome and I just can't see why I "need" or even want the Hawk, but here I am, pondering over it anyway.

Just accept that in this short life, sometimes “want” is a form of “need” and move forward to obtain it. Let us know how it compares to the Vector after a few shaves!

After the V2 in anodized aluminum in various colors, RazoRock produces stainless steel version.
The Hawk V3 model is present in various configurations.
https://www.italianbarber.com/products/r...e-razor-v3

Three types of head geometry:
• V3 Standard, like V2
• V3 A, the most effective (Aggressive)
• V3 OC, slightly more effective than V2, Open Comb bar with distant teeth

Currently only three options are available on the site:
• Standard with Ufo handle
• Open Comb with HD handle
• Aggressive with Super Knurl handle

For now, I have not seen pictures in detail.
Neither on the pages, nor on the social networks, nor in the SOTDs.
But knowing the company, I am confident.
I also like the fact that they have kept the price unchanged.

Can someone share pics?

I've been eagerly waiting for this but am not completely sold on the handle options currently available. I kind of wanted a halo handle. The ufo one looks okay. Maybe I'll wait for the next drop?

Also, can anyone comment on the previous SS hawk?? I tried both an aluminum hawk and an aluminum colonial general and they just didn't work well for me. I love my SS Enoch especially with prolines and titan guard blades. I just don't want to buy another razor that I'll then have to trade or flip to someone else. Thanks for your input guys.

Hahahahaha, nice subtle enabling !!  I doubt I actually get one though.  It just doesn't make much sense to me, and my RAD just isn't pinging loudly enough for me to bite.  I've said in a couple threads that if my name got called by Wolfman right now, I'd decline to complete the order....and I've been saying that for weeks now and still feel that way.  I think the only way I'd buy a razor right now is if Blackland released an injector.  Seriously.

IIRC Blackland Razors mentioned in a live chat that an injector format razor would be (might be?part of completing the Blackland stable, but without any indication that it would actually inject, how seriously it was being considered, or how far down the highway it might be.  My guess is that your wallet is pretty safe for a while.

^^ Yep, based on a short exchange Shane had on ATG, my (wholly made-up) sense is that we're likely a year out. My statement is a bit of hyperbole, to be sure, at least in terms of any absolute intention to buy such an injector. As you said, ultimate design is unknown, and whether it actually injects would play a huge part, for me, in its attractiveness.
