Just a product placeholder. The prevailing thought is a month til release.

I didn't get good results with the Feather Super in my AC razors, if you buy the Hawk, i think you should give the Schick Proline P-30 blades a try, they work great for me.

Heh, in anticipation of pulling the trigger the day the SS Hawk is released, I already have a shopping cart at Italian Barber stocked with stuff including Kai Titan Mild Protouch (with guards) blades for a quick checkout.  I'm basically flying blind so will first try what is allegedly the mildest and work my way up; perhaps the Prolines you suggest second (I think the best place to buy those is Rakuten?).  I'm not 100% certain I'll be a buyer on release day, but I'm gonna be ready to pounce should I decide to.

You can always get a sampler from tryablade.com to test each blade to get a feel for what will work or you can put together a sampler of your own liking as they sell individual blades also...

The RazoRock Hawk V3 stainless steel SE razor is now available on the Italian Barber web site:  https://www.italianbarber.com/products/r...e-razor-v3

Just grabbed one with the UFO handle. Happy shopping!

So tempting... especially the OC. But There’s no handles I like with the head so maybe I’ll wait. I’ve been very happy with the General V2 but am interested in what the V3 might be like.

Got both A and OC. Wasn't expecting he would release different plate options. $60 is a nice price.
Looking forward to try them.

I got both the OC and SB with different handles first thing this morning. I have been in contact with Joe from Razorock and they will be releasing the A plate at a later date. Pics of the OC will be uploaded to the site in a day or 2.

I got the A and used the occasion to pick up a GC .84 Jaws base plate too. I agree that $60 is a nice price for any of the V3s.

What took you so long?

Huh?

Just kidding.  Thirty eight (38) minutes after I placed my order, I got a UPS tracking number.  The order obviously hasn't been picked up, but UPS lists it as "Shipment Ready for UPS".  I only mention this because IME Italian Barber does as good a job as anyone when it comes to fulfillment, and if you read their yellow on red "Corona Banner", you know they are impacted just like the rest of us.  So to make a long story short(er), they deserve some props.

Now that I may have jinxed myself, we will see how long it takes for my gear to get to Virginia in these difficult timesConfused2
