GC was delivered today and I have prepared it for shaving. Unfortunately, I shaved a few hours earlier with my new Rex Ambassador! After I get a couple of shaves, I will post a review. Expect to send along to bobmsp next week (Wed - Fri).

RR posted on his twitter that he did some changes to the head geometry for the new batch, whether it will be change to the base plate, top cap or both it will be revealed today

The twitter post specified that the base plate has been modified.

If Joe made changes to the base plate to either to increase the blade gap or possibly make the razor more aggressive then there will be some unhappy individuals.

I have a feeling he may have done some changes on the base plate that will hold the blade better.

How can we know what changes may have been made? I'm on the mailing list and have not heard anything yet. I am asking because I'm waiting for a more aggressive base plate to become available.

he said on his twitter that he made some changes, did not specify what sort of changes but he will reveal them today. The more aggressive plate he is planning for something to do later on but no news about it so far.

If you go on his Twitter he has a tweet with picture of the Blue after shave, that's where he wrote regarding the changes of the GC base plate
