Why would anyone care if 2 people get involved in a private, mutually agreed to transaction?

Why would someone care that somebody else cares?  

Because it is an irritating trend of third parties being offended at every little thing.

You said it perfectly. I tried to contest here that the RAW razor is not in the same price tier as [most] other razors and people sure showed me. They
said RAW is 1) better design / better shave, 2) better materials, and 3) more features (ex. extra base plate). That might all be true but at the end of the day it still cost more than most other razors. A $32,500 car is not in the same price tier as a $21,000 car just because it's better and comes with more options.

With words like could, should, would, etc.  associated with “have had some impact on his closing” and claiming “his shady past” you circled around different forums, gladly serving “facts” and links from your bag of proofs trying to open the eyes of the fooled people blinded by the success of his business and popularity of his products.

Though his products may have become popular, if you are insinuating that in the less than a year in which he released, (lets say for argument sake 100 razors +/-), that he was a success I'm afraid you are mistaken!! The only thing it would seem he accomplished was to design a nice razor that he lost control of as well as that of the business itself and now seems to be left with nothing but a past, and even that seems sketchy at best!!
