So why are they closing up shop? Not many customers for $500 razor stands?

Don't worry a $730 option will come out this summer.

If you like really expensive DE razors with replaceable "lubricating strips" Rolleyes, super fancy boxes that you'll stow away in a closet and never look at again, waaayy overpriced combination paperweight/razor stands and suspiciously familiar looking razor designs, then yeah, you'll love it. The reason they're closing has nothing to do with lack of sales. I find it a bit comical that the only people who are complaining about the company and their products, are those who have never actually used them.

The owner is not ready to share that yet, publicly, until he chooses to do so there will be all sorts of speculation.

One thing is for sure, these razors are now elevated into the top bracket of unobtainium goods.

Good for present owners, if they ever decide they want to sell.

I can say it is not for lack of sales, the price of the razors and not for any illness reasons which I’ve heard being tossed around. For some that know the reason they have chosen to let Avi explain should he choose to. All I will say is it’s unfortunate that the
RS 10 will no longer be made. A razor that with the mild plate was probably the smoothest Shaving modern razors and a great daily shaver. With the aggressive plate on it the RS 10 was as close to providing a perfect balance of both efficiency and smoothness. Not being able to recommend this excellent shaving razor to a fellow friend or member is again unfortunate.
