I have a dilemma I purchased some products from a vendor that I have had to previous issues with and both times never even got a reply back from them left bunch of emails, calls and even PM's with nothing so I stopped buying from them. But recently I wanted a product so I took my chances lone behold there were extra items in my box that I did not purchase is this karma good luck? Not sure I should even try and reach out saying they made a mistake when they didn't seem to bother about a mistake they made twice before. I will note these items are not cheap at all. What would you folks do.

Personally, I would reach out to them, let them know of the "error", and simply advise that I would be willing to return the extra products, at their expense, no problem.

My guess is that they recognized the situation and offered the extra product as a thank you for giving them another chance. A verbal or email acknowledgement would have been nice, or even a note saying something along the lines of "Sorry about the past issues, but here's some_____ to hopefully make up for it. Thanks for giving us another shot!"

I don;t think they will want the product back...out of sight, out of mind...and by you reaching out to them with the offer, it shows YOUR integrity is above reproach, despite any negative experiences in the past...

Just my humble...$0.02...

I agree with Chris (BadDad) on this.  Take the high road.  (I think the very fact that you are asking here, you already know the answer and are leaning in this direction. Happy2)   Let's hope the merchant realizes his mistakes of the past and tells you to keep the extra products.   This leads to goodwill on all sides.

Tell the bank. Because it is right and at some point a person with 3 letters behind their name will knock on the door looking for their share of your new found wealth and it just gets messy from there.

I agree completely. I don't think it matters what the merchant did or did not do that was right or wrong; what matters is what you do now - simply doing the right thing.
