It's received a few good reviews but for some reason it hasn't really been a big seller (Must be my sub-par marketing!). I was never fond of floral scents until this one, it has really grown on me.
What floral notes are in this soap? I'm quite partial to floral scents.
Our Midnight Garden contains notes of Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Orange, Neroli and Vetiver.
Anthronicle.com did a review of this soap recently. They labeled it as 'Floral Tart'

Boo!
According to the tracking info, it has finally reached the local post office distribution center. I hope this means I'll be able to shave with it tonight
Lady Luck... Amber, bergamot, sandalwood, and bit of patchouli. What's not to love? Maybe people are scared of the patchouli, but there's not much in there.

I just got Green Tea & Bergamot today and enjoyed a shave with it despite only having 18 hours of growth. It is really, really good and surprisingly gentle. My skin is hypersensitive to citrus oils and so I typically feel at least a slight tingle if not a burn from citrus soaps; Green Tea and Bergamot didn't burn at all, lathered great, shaved great, and smelled great. I do like how it does walk the line between herbal, spicy, and sweet. The tea and bergamot combine to it's own unique and relaxing scent instead of smelling like a cup of tea with a wedge of citrus.
Nice work on this soap!

Thanks a lot! I'm glad to hear it isn't bothering your skin. The bergamot component is an essential oil, too, so you can't really get more citrusy than that.

I will be adding a sample of this AS splash to my next order. I hadn't really considered it before I read this.
Really good idea for this thread.

This is a great question and I am enjoying the artisans' responses. I saw recently saw in print that the creator of Tiki bar soaps has a favorite scent which really surprised me. I don't even see that scent on her web site. My friend who introduced me to wet shaving about 2 years ago had never tried Stirling until I sent him a sample of Lampasas. He went on to order the Glastonbury and states it may be his favorite soap in his den.
Ah, che bel vivere, che bel piacere per un barbiere di qualita.
