I recently emailed Connaught about their new policy. He replied saying that Feather asked him to put that note up & wants their products purchased through their local stockists. I then emailed Jatai International who I think is the parent company of Feather. In the email I received back I was told that I should contact OneBlade to get the Feather SE blades.

So it does seem to be true that OneBlade is the North American distributor for Feather FHS-10 blades. This would mean that every North American retailer that sells these blades is getting them first from OneBlade.

This is really annoying :/. Thanks for the information.

Weakened competition and cornered markets are always bad for the consumer. It seems like OneBlade is looking to make these blades the equivalent of a cartridge refill.

I found some here.
http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/fea...lade-10pk/

I also contacted a buddy of mine in the UK.....I have 480 on the way. I'm good for a year or so now. Wound up costing me just a little over 50 cents each.

Well that makes me extremely happy that I bought my one blade on the secondary market and didn't give money directly to oneblade. When my blades run out, if I can't find another supplier, I'll move the razor along. However, I bet there will be some gents in England willing to help us Yanks out.

I recently received 200 GEM PTFE coated blades from Ted Pella, Inc. Their service was fast, and I am very pleased with the blade performance. At $35 before shipping, I think I've got the OneBlade blade issue licked.

That's a great price!

By the way, I've nearly succumbed to ordering the razor Tongue. I blame each and every one of you.

I've ordered from Pella before and they are great. I remember their shipping prices being higher so I've lately used Connaught. It may take a few days longer to arrive by my last order of 200 GEM PTFE blades cost $35 after shipping.

Regardless the source, these blades are certainly economical and they perform stupendously for me.

Thanks for this SharpSpine. I was just about to start looking around for some more PTFEs. This makes my search much easier.
