Just arrived, the two Paladins I was fortunate to grab from this past week's release. Cannot believe they are already here:
This butterscotch is without question, the most incredible butterscotch handle I've ever seen. Pictures do not do either of these handles justice because the handle colors look literally wet, like they are dripping. Amazing depth on the finish.
Updates to follow for performance, as well as feel of the badger hair.

That butterscotch is beautiful...even in the pictures

I just looked at the first picture I put up in this thread and its amazing. You can see the two cards along with some other things in their mirror reflective finishes. I just went and took another look at the brushes wow. I'm super impressed here.
First impressions of the knot from the new Paladin Butterscotch Chief (26mm):
Fantastic flow-through for a first shave on a brush. The knot held back no lather, had a great three passes and could have easily had a fourth. The knot's backbone reminded me of a Shavemac 2-band actually. Nice and solid, but it splayed very well. Additionally, I found the tips of the Paladin knot to be just a touch softer than a Shavemac 2-band. It whipped up a perfect shaving lather, was soft, luxurious and went right to the top of my list as far as my personal knot preferences. Typically I always buy 2-band knots and at the moment, the Paladin is right there among my personal favorites. I'm very pleased with this brush.

Finally my Lotus arrived - and of course it looks so beautiful. My poor pictures never do them any justice, but I try

Fantastic photos and nice collection, Alfredus. Maybe it's too early since you just got it but how do you find the Lotus shape in hand compared to the PK47 and Chief?
