If like me you are a fan of Terre d'Hermes, stop whatever it is you are doing and go right to Stirling soaps and pick up their Arkadia soap/splash set!!!!!!!
IMHO ezlovan has nailed the scent,by far THE closest Td'H inspired product I have tried to date.

Although I haven’t used TdH, this sounds like good news, as Stirling is not the first one to version the scent. How is the splash? I’m wondering if it can be used as a cologne substitute. (Most aftershaves don’t linger for very long.)

The splash is fantastic!!!!Same great face feel as the other Stirling offerings,we will see how the longevity is since I just used it a few hours ago(just came in today)
Based on past experiences with Rod's splashes,I'd say a good 5-6 hours for me shouldn't be out of the question though.

The splash lasts a good 4 hours on me at what I would call cologne strength, got a compliment today after 4 hours or so from this mornings shave.
I can still catch a whiff of it much later on in the day.Give it a try,I am sure you would enjoy it.

Thanks, this is really good to know. Those compliments you get when you yourself have already lost sense of a scent … well, I guess it just means that the stuff works. Smile

Another really good TDH scent based soap is L&L Trigmigistus, similar to Fine L'Orange Noir, but it has a bit stronger "dirty orange" scent. Very nice stuff. I agree that the Stirling one is a pretty darn good match as well. Even the Akadia balm has good scent longevity.

I have the set, and I have to agree. Absolutely spot on. I get a good 4-5 hours of decent scent, and both soap and splash are very typical Stirling high performance software. Great stuff!

Yup Trismegistus is another fantastic Td'H clone.Soap smells and performs great, the after shave splash smells a little strange in the bottle but smells fine once splashed on.Only complaints with L&L are the non water proof labels and the funky restrictors in the splash bottles.Over all L&L and Stirling have done the Td'H scent very well indeed!!!

I agree, that damn restrictor in their aftershave almost made me spill half the bottle in my hand the first time I went to use it. Either use a normal restrictor that allows a small amount, or don't use one at all. This is IMO of course, but other than that L&L does make some nice products and its always good to see new artisans hit the market, it steps the game up a bit.
