Pre-Shave Scrub

I don't think this has been asked before, and I tried to do my due diligence and search... Does anyone else use a pre-shave facial scrub? I started about a month ago and am really liking the results. I've never used much for pre-shave oils or what not, but a friend gave me some Kiehl's Facial Fuel and it's been great. I assumed that I would over-exfoliate my skin, but on the contrary I feel that I'm getting less drag with my razors (which I would assume is due to the lack of dead skin and better exposed hair). Anyone else?
