Most artisans/manufacturers/vendors don't ask for money in advance. A perfect example is Greg @ iKon. He designs,manufacturers and sells using his own capital. And there are thousands more like him. However, I see your point and that is okay.
Yeah, ikon is a perfect example of a rude vendor, that doesn't own up to manufacturing defects and claims it's a minor cosmetic issue and refuses returns on 80$+ razors. Please don't compare the two.

i have had some ikon stuff show up brand new with some nicks and or scratches and i emailed greg and he instantly shipped out replacements. not sure why some have different experiences with him but at least to me he has always been awesome to deal with. once i send him pics and nicely explain i am unhappy with the item he has never once given me issues. i did have an issue with massdrop and the original ikon slant coming damaged, when massdrop did not do anything for me greg sent me a new one.

as far as blackland goes im still so torn on handle. i may just go for the both handles just dont need more handles lol.

I do enjoy switching back and forth between the handle options. But if you do select one handle and find that you would prefer the other, I'm happy to swap the handles for just the cost of shipping.

I switch between the two handles and I do not think I will ever be able to let either of them go. They make the Bird demonstrate different characteristics, while maintaining it an exceptionally gorgeous, effective and efficient razor.

That's called being unprofessional, and bad customer support. I don't understand why people that had good experience think that it's some kind of a proof that others got a good service, and not just their individual cases. That would be my last comment on the subject, as I do not wish to hijack the thread. I just wish people won't give ikon as a role model for business conduct.
