This time it looks like it's true, guys...  

PolSilver "Super Iridium" Blades Being Discontinued

This is truly sad news. I had ordered 400 Polsilver blades last week and just ordered an additional 900 to make sure I never run out of my favorite blade.

I just ordered 100 a couple of weeks ago... And I've got another 400 on tha way.

Dude... time to stock up. I bet dcc is gonna have a busy week!

This is truly sad news. I had ordered 400 Polsilver blades last week and just ordered an additional 900 to make sure I never run out of my favorite blade.

Just ordered another 200 blades from Polsilver-blades.com, bringing the grand total to 600 blades, I will worry about moving to a new brand at that time. For now, I'm just carrying on as normal, getting that extra shave out of each blade...Anyhoo not that I'm thinking about it or anything but anyone have a Polsilver replacement in mind? Heard the Perma sharps come out of the same factory and are comparable?

Your thoughts on them or others. Yes this is somewhat of a thread highjack but it is related to the topic since once our collective stashes run out we will either stop shaving altogether or find a reasonably good replacement.

The Perma-Sharp Supers are very nice, but I find the Gillette Silver Blues a better blade. Personally, I find the Wizamet Iridium Supers to be the best blade I have tried.

celestino, where the heck do you get Wizamet iridium supers? I've never seen them for sale anywhere. Are they a vintage blade or something?

I also purchased 1,000 blades from him several months ago, not sure that he has any more though.

Thanks guys, I checked it out but it looks like the last update was from back in May where he received a small batch. Those are likely way gone by now. Maybe I'll shoot him an email anyway.
